I have finally taken some pictures of my progress. It takes less than 15 minutes to snap the pictures, upload them, give them a little edit, and upload to photobucket. I’m smacking my hand for being so reticent about taking pictures. Pictures are what makes reading a blog fun!!
My progress on the Seraphina shawl –
I’m still debating as to whether I’m going to complete it using this yarn. I only have 8 oz and I’m not sure that it will be enough.
I’m making this for my mom, probably for a Christmas present.
I’m using Red Heart Lustersheen in Dark Mulberry. I love working with this! It’s definitely worth trying out and the shawl, despite using the treble stitch, has been fun to make.
Here’s a closeup of the stitches –
A little picture happy today, aren’t I?? One more to go! Here’s my progress on the dishcloth for my grandmother. I’m hoping to finish it by Labor Day so that my mom can take it home with her after her visit. My grandma has her kitched decorated in roosters and the colors of this yarn (Aunt Lydia’s Double Strand thread) fits in perfectly. I’m using a stitch that I’ve used in a bookmark to create my own little thread dishcloth design.
