Madeline Ballet Bun Cover

Materials
1 ball Patons Silverlash in Lustrous Lilac, approximately 30 yards
(can substitute any medium, worsted weight yarn)
1 “H” crochet hook, size 5.00 mm
1 yarn needle to weave in ends
12-18″ white sheer ribbon, approximately 1/4″ wide
Pattern
Row 1: Ch 4, sl st to make a ring
Row 2: Sl st into ring, ch 1, 6 sc into ring, join to 1st sc
Row 3: Ch 3, dc into same sc, 2 dc in each sc around (12 total double crochets, including ch 3 as 1st dc)
Row 4: Ch 6, dc in next dc, (ch 3, dc in next dc) 10 times, ch 3, join with sl to 3rd
ch of 1st dc
Row 5: Sl st into next ch-3 space, ch 2, hdc, ch 1, (2 hdc in next ch-3 space, ch
1) 11 times, ch 1, join with sl st to top of 1st hdc
Row 6: Ch 2, hdc in each hdc around, join to 1st hdc (23 hdc)
Rows 7-9: Repeat Row 6
Row 10: Ch 5, skip next hdc, dc into next dc, ch 2, (skip next dc, dc in next hdc,
ch 2) around. Join to 3rd ch of 1st dc. Finish off.
Cut a ribbon of your choice approximately 12-18 inches long. Weave through Row 10. This
will be the tie for the bun cover. Enjoy!
